Responsibilities
- Optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, transportation, and inventory management
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing lean methodologies and digital transformation projects
- Develop and execute strategic logistics plans aligned with business objectives
- Analyze KPIs to identify cost reduction opportunities and service improvements
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with 3PL partners
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
- Drive sustainability initiatives through carbon footprint reduction programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in supply chain management with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and logistics software (Blue Yonder, Manhattan)
- Proven track record in optimizing multi-modal transportation networks
- CSCP or CPIM certification required
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent project management abilities with PMP certification a plus
- Knowledge of Chicago's logistics ecosystem and transportation infrastructure
