Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
- Lead vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and ongoing relationship management to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
- Direct end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery protocols.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to forecast demand and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to align supply capacity with fluctuating market demand.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- Mentor and lead a team of supply chain analysts and logistics coordinators to achieve departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a global logistics environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS software.
- Expertise in procurement strategies, global sourcing, and international trade regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Professional certification such as CSCP or CLTD is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
