Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and distribution networks
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract management, securing favorable terms for 50+ key suppliers
- Implement data-driven analytics to forecast demand and reduce stockouts by 25%
- Oversee transportation logistics, including route optimization and carrier partnerships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles
- Manage cross-functional projects with procurement, warehousing, and customer service teams
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive experience in supply chain leadership within manufacturing or 3PL
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain analytics tools
- CSCP or CPIM certification required
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs by 15%+ annually
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing multi-million dollar supplier contracts
- Experience implementing automation technologies (IoT, AI-driven forecasting)
