Nexus Global Logistics is seeking a high-impact Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead our Midwest distribution operations. In this role, you will define the future of our supply chain excellence, driving efficiency and sustainability at scale.
You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate state-of-the-art automation while managing high-stakes vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and procurement workflows to ensure 99% fulfillment accuracy.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL partners and global freight carriers to negotiate favorable service level agreements.
- Implement advanced data analytics to forecast market trends and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and analysts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse operations team to optimize storage throughput and inventory turnover.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies across the distribution network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics operations.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site distribution networks.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Professional certification (APICS CSCP, CLTD, or PMP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
