Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies that align with business objectives and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring high service levels.
- Cost Management: Analyze logistics spend and identify areas for cost reduction and process optimization without sacrificing quality.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and suppliers to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (OTIF, Cost per Unit, Inventory Turnover) to drive continuous improvement.
- Crisis Management: Lead logistics response strategies for disruptions such as weather events, port congestion, or regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in supply chain or logistics, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data modeling and analysis.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of global supply chain processes, Incoterms, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders clearly.
- Certifications: CSCP or CPIM certification is highly preferred.
