Responsibilities
- Analyze End-to-End Logistics Data: Monitor and interpret supply chain metrics to identify bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Freight Forwarding Management: Oversee the coordination of shipping schedules, carrier selection, and documentation to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods.
- Network Optimization: Develop and maintain logistics network models to determine the most cost-effective routes and transportation modes.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to ensure service quality.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all logistics activities adhere to local and international regulations, including customs procedures and safety standards.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or freight forwarding.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Incoterms, HS codes, and import/export regulations in the APAC region.
