Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, inventory management, and distribution planning.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors to negotiate rates and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Develop and maintain accurate logistics reports, forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at streamlining supply chain workflows and implementing new technologies.
- Mentor junior logistics staff and contribute to the development of logistics policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in supply chain management, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with external partners.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs documentation, and Incoterms.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
