Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics tools to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and identify process improvements.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- KPI Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including delivery times, cost per unit, and fill rates.
- Crisis Management: Lead logistics contingency planning and execute rapid responses to supply chain disruptions.
- Process Optimization: Streamline workflows and implement lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis or logistics management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Certification: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
