Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain supply chain models to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels across multiple nodes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics operations and reduce lead times.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, freight costs, and inventory turnover ratios.
- Prepare detailed reports and visual presentations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Research and evaluate new technologies, carriers, and suppliers to ensure best-in-class service levels.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics management, or operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- Experience with supply chain planning software (e.g., Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder) is highly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
