The Role:
As our Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will act as the bridge between data and decision-making. You will analyze complex supply chain metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that directly impact the bottom line. You will collaborate closely with procurement, warehousing, and transportation departments to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain complex inventory models to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align production schedules accordingly.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead times, and fill rates to drive operational excellence.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including the implementation of new technologies and automation tools.
- Manage vendor performance metrics and negotiate better terms based on data-driven insights.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics management, or operations research.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate raw data into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
