Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data, including demand forecasts, inventory levels, transportation costs, and supplier performance, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement sophisticated models and tools to optimize inventory management, logistics, and warehousing operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on supply chain strategies and operational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and dashboards on key supply chain metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage and monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and implement preventative measures to mitigate future risks.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives, contributing to the development of long-term supply chain objectives and roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations, preferably in a complex global environment.
- Strong proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, Kinaxis).
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proven experience with statistical analysis and demand forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
