Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to optimize spend across direct and indirect materials.
- Lead complex, high-stakes negotiations with global vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
- Conduct deep-dive market intelligence analysis to forecast price trends and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Establish and monitor KPI frameworks to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Engineering and Finance to streamline the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
- Manage the end-to-end RFP/RFQ process, ensuring total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by sourcing eco-friendly alternatives and ensuring ethical supplier compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or professional purchasing.
- Proven track record of managing annual spend exceeding $50M with measurable cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud Procurement.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM, or CSCP) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at the C-suite level.
- Experience navigating global trade compliance and international logistics frameworks.
