Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company objectives to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Manage the full lifecycle of supplier relationships, from vendor selection and onboarding to performance evaluation and renewal negotiations.
- Conduct rigorous market research and supplier analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead negotiations on contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring terms are favorable and legally compliant.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and engineering teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reporting on procurement performance and spend analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost savings for an organization.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification is highly desirable.
