Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for key categories, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and risk assessments.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead high-level negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and implement purchasing strategies to drive bottom-line savings.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Engineering) to understand their needs and deliver procurement solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or procurement operations, with a proven track record of negotiation and cost reduction.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba) and advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Certification: CIPS Level 4 or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional negotiation skills, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
