Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current vendors while identifying new partners to expand our network.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze spending patterns and implement strategies to reduce operational costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
- Tools: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a proven track record of saving costs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to executive leadership.
