Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to optimize spend across global business units.
- Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, mitigate risk, and guarantee supply continuity.
- Identify and onboard high-value vendors while maintaining a robust supplier performance management framework.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast commodity price fluctuations and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Legal, Finance, and Operations to streamline the procure-to-pay process.
- Mentor junior procurement analysts to cultivate a high-performance culture within the department.
- Ensure 100% compliance with corporate governance and international trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar direct and indirect spend portfolios.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and e-Procurement software.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and financial models.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
