Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable, robust distributed systems using microservices architecture.
- Lead technical initiatives from conception through deployment, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize database queries and system latency to ensure 99.99% service reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing sessions.
- Develop and implement automated testing suites to maintain high code quality standards.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in CI/CD, security, and cloud infrastructure management.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, React, and Python.
- Proven experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) database design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments is highly preferred.
