Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure, high-performance web applications using modern frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, React).
- Lead the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture compliant with FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, architectural assessments, and technical mentoring for junior engineers.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to cybersecurity protocols, data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), and government compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, policy experts, and security analysts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience in a government or highly regulated environment.
- Proven expertise in backend development (Java, C#, Python) and frontend technologies (Angular, React, Vue).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with database management systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data warehousing solutions.
