Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural requirements and API specifications.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization across our cloud infrastructure.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Identify and resolve complex production bottlenecks and reliability issues.
- Contribute to the strategic technical roadmap for our core platform services.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure high code quality and deployment safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Deep expertise in Java, Go, or Rust within a microservices architecture.
- Proven track record of managing distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design patterns.
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
