Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Optimize existing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and architectural patterns to improve system reliability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development.
- Expert proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience designing and managing relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering complex software projects on time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
