Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis) and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead technical sprint planning and architecture roadmap discussions
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent-pending fintech solutions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices (OWASP, SOC 2 compliance)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with fintech regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design abilities
