Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance microservices using Go and Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Implement security-first DevOps practices for cloud-native applications
- Drive A/B testing initiatives for feature rollouts to 10M+ users
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects that power our infrastructure
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Published contributions to major open-source projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design expertise
