Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Go and Python
- Lead technical initiatives for cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize deployment workflows
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry standards
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development with distributed systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, and modern web frameworks (React/Node.js)
- Proven track record with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong background in database design (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, SQS)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Published contributions to major open-source projects preferred
