Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead technical sprint planning and code reviews for distributed systems
- Optimize database performance for high-throughput financial APIs
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct security audits and compliance testing for PCI-DSS systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and AWS/GCP architecture
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and gRPC protocols
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proficient in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
