Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families' needs, ensuring safety and welfare are prioritized.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Act as a key worker, providing direct support, advocacy, and guidance to vulnerable individuals.
  • Monitor cases closely, identifying risks and escalating issues to safeguard children effectively.

Qualifications

  • Valid Social Work qualification (CQSW/QSW) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in a statutory or similar social care setting.
  • Deep understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
  • Strong assessment and risk management skills.
