Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-prem infrastructures
- Develop incident response playbooks and coordinate cross-functional breach mitigation
- Conduct security architecture reviews for new deployments and existing systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across the organization
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security engineering roles
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent (e.g., CISM, CEH)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and container security (Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and NIST frameworks
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat investigation and root cause analysis
