Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and incident response protocols
- Develop automation tools for security monitoring and threat detection using SIEM platforms
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Conduct security awareness training and provide guidance to engineering teams
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
- Manage security compliance frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIST CSF
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture/engineering
- Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent (e.g., CISM, CEH)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
