Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced security solutions, including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts, including triage, containment, and remediation of security breaches.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
- Monitor security alerts and analyze threat intelligence to proactively defend against cyber-attacks.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Conduct regular security training sessions for staff to raise awareness of potential risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and tool development.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security models.
- Experience with major security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto Networks.
