Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security frameworks including zero-trust architecture and cloud security controls
- Lead incident response operations, coordinating cross-functional teams during security breaches
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and cloud-native tools
- Establish security metrics and reporting mechanisms for executive leadership
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive security experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Advanced knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong experience with security automation and orchestration
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building security programs in fast-paced tech environments
