Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security frameworks across cloud, network, and application layers
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensics, and remediation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify systemic risks
- Develop security automation tools using Python, Terraform, and cloud-native services
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Present security findings to executive stakeholders and propose strategic improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in a leadership role
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong background in threat modeling and risk assessment frameworks
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure
