Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting initiatives using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify system weaknesses
- Develop security automation solutions using Python and DevSecOps practices
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into SDLC processes
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Mentor junior security staff and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- Proficiency in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and endpoint protection
- Hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience in financial services or healthcare security preferred
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
