Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts and playbooks
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness programs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with cloud security experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent (CEH, OSCP)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and infrastructure
- Strong Python/Go scripting for security automation
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and identity management
- Proven incident response handling (IR plan execution)
- Ability to communicate complex risks to technical/non-technical stakeholders
