Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud/on-prem environments
- Lead incident response coordination for critical security breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring and alerting
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security training workshops
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend strategic countermeasures
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network protocols
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven incident response leadership in enterprise environments
