Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud-native security controls
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and post-breach remediation
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Establish security metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in security posture
- Mentor junior engineers and champion security best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering leadership
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proven track record in designing and implementing SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong background in threat intelligence, NIST frameworks, and compliance standards
- Experience with security automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to operate under pressure during security incidents
