Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures, including zero-trust frameworks and cloud security solutions
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations, driving rapid mitigation of sophisticated cyber threats
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing across hybrid infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Terraform, and SIEM integrations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security principles throughout the SDLC
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish security best practices across departments
- Represent security leadership in cross-functional strategic planning sessions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive security engineering experience with enterprise-scale environments
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification with demonstrated hands-on penetration testing skills
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Ansible, Splunk, CrowdStrike) and scripting languages
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and endpoint protection platforms
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with proven success in high-pressure incident scenarios
