Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for 15+ engineers
- Optimize system performance and database queries (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and AWS
- Partner with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Automate infrastructure monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go or similar languages
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and gRPC protocols
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
