Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations for complex security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present security findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security controls and GRC frameworks
- Proven track record of incident response leadership in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of network security, threat intelligence, and zero-trust models
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
