Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise security architectures including SIEM, EDR, and cloud security controls
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring and vulnerability management
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments of critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security engineering
- Certifications (CISSP, OSCP, or SANS GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proven track record in incident response and threat hunting
