Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Conduct proactive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM integration
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security engineering roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Deep understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders
