Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead penetration testing and red team engagements for high-value clients
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for hybrid cloud environments
- Incident response leadership during security breaches and cyber incidents
- Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments for custom applications
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across DevOps pipelines
- Present executive-level threat briefings and security strategy roadmaps
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security engineering
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required (GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Demonstrated success in threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework implementation
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
