Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations for critical security events
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python and Ansible
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Present security metrics and risk assessments to executive leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering-focused roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Proficient in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with security orchestration and automation (SOAR) platforms
