Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures including zero-trust frameworks and cloud-native security solutions
- Lead incident response operations, conducting forensic analysis and mitigating sophisticated cyber threats
- Develop and maintain security automation tools using Python and Ansible for threat detection and response
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across complex enterprise environments
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering roles
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP with demonstrable hands-on penetration testing experience
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for security tooling development
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
