Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions including network segmentation, zero-trust architectures, and cloud security postures
- Lead penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red team exercises to identify and remediate critical risks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation including policies, playbooks, and compliance frameworks
- Coordinate incident response activities including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and recovery operations
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness across technical and non-technical teams
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching cutting-edge attack vectors and defense technologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering with proven expertise in cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and compliance requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), EDR solutions, and orchestration tools
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP (or equivalent demonstrable expertise)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable business insights
- Experience leading security initiatives in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, or tech)
