Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade security infrastructure including SIEM, EDR, and cloud-native protection systems
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across complex multi-cloud environments
- Develop incident response playbooks and coordinate cross-functional breach remediation efforts
- Mentor junior security engineers and establish security best practices across engineering teams
- Drive security automation initiatives using Python, Terraform, and cloud-native security tools
- Collaborate with product teams to embed security-by-design principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor emerging threats and adapt security strategies to counter sophisticated attack vectors
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or engineering leadership
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Advanced knowledge of network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and secure coding practices
- Professional certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CCSP) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Proven track record designing and implementing zero-trust security frameworks
- Strong experience with security automation tools (Splunk, SOAR, Sentinel) and scripting languages
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
