Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response protocols for cybersecurity breaches and vulnerabilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture implementations for cloud-native applications
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Proven experience designing network security architectures (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Deep understanding of threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Terraform)
