Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior security professionals and drive security awareness initiatives
- Integrate security best practices into cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in information security with 3+ years in engineering roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in network security, threat detection, and incident response
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with security automation tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Experience with cloud security architecture and container security
- Ability to translate complex security concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
