Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response operations, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and containment strategies
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
- Develop and execute security automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security principles into DevOps pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Mentor junior security professionals and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering-focused roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS/Azure security services and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven experience implementing SIEM, EDR, and network security solutions
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and API security
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex security concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- History of leading successful security transformation projects
