Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions for cloud-native applications
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across systems
- Develop security automation tools using Python, Terraform, and Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage IAM policies and compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS)
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP required
- Expertise in threat modeling, zero-trust architecture, and encryption technologies
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
- Proven track record of securing microservices and containerized environments
- Experience with regulatory compliance in regulated industries
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
