Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols
- Lead incident response activities, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing for cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP (or equivalent)
- Expertise in network security, vulnerability management, and threat detection
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, ELK, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong background in secure coding practices and application security
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to thrive under pressure
