- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of critical systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions
- Stay current with emerging threats and implement proactive defense strategies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security architecture
- Certified CISSP, CCSP, or OSCP with active CE credits
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven experience leading incident response teams for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash) for security automation
- Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
